Transnational meeting in Cyprus
The coordinators of all partners met for the first time in Larnaca, Cyprus, to know each other personally and to fix all the details of the project. We were very excited. For most of us it was astonishing to find hot summer-weather in Cyprus with 30 degrees. Nether were we used to cars driving on the left nor to prescriptions for clothes at school.
During several meetings we figured out the means of communication and tasks of every school, as well as the financial details and distribution of the costs. We were welcomed at Vergina Gymnasium and attended lessons.
But we also visited Larnaca and had a meeting in town hall with the mayor Mr Petros Christodoulou. A bus excursion took us to the theatre of Kourio and to Paphos, and we saw Aphrodite’s birth place, as well as Lefkara. History and landscapes in Cyprus impressed us a lot.
